Despite the fact that the kids are all getting bigger, we're referring to a *new* baby. Yup, you heard it here. Tarani's going to be a big sister! We're so very happy to be expecting another blessing.

So, about the kids.. Jahnu, the unbelievably gifted tech prodigy, turned eight a week ago and is publically inviting people to view his webpages: www.dasya.com/~jahnu and www.dasya.com/~jahnu/jahnu Check him out! Wooohooo :-) Chakra is following close on his big brother's heels with *his* website: www.dasya.com/~jahnu/pic but you can get linked from Jahnu's site if you search for "chakra". They are both terribly obsessed with volcanoes at the moment, but during the hurricane season wouldn't miss a day without looking at www.wunderground.com/tropical at least once. As concerned parents, we just hope that they choose a less dangerous profession when they grow up! Vikram is going to be five shortly and he's incredibly excited about going to "the big kids' school". He'll be joined by his best friend Vrindavan, so its *that* much more tantalizing ;-) He's reading pretty well now and rides his bike too. Good Job Mr. V!
Teeny Tiny is definitely showing her stubborn side these days, but is usually good-natured about saying "NO!" She likes to watch the person cooking in the kitchen, but more often than not gets banished to the floor for touching off-limits things (such as knives). She sings very beautifully and like her brothers, has a mind like a steel trap. She loves Tuesday playgroup, MWF preschool and her wonderful teacher, Kamalini Prabhu. We are so blessed to live in a community with SO MANY children!

In other news, Jahnu is now cooking breakfast three days a week. He started with making oatmeal and has now progressed to cream of wheat. he can also make rice and simply wonderfuls. Kudos to him for being such a persistent cook!

Grown-up school gets out this week, but finals are *next* week. After that, we're all going to take a long nap ;-) Hopefully we'll go up to Philly to visit dearest Sangita Mata, who was Mula's nurse in Vrindavan, and her family for New Years. Nama misses her so much!

We hope you all are having a lovely holiday season and we hope to see you all soon!

All our love,

Hullo Family and Friends all over the world! Just a short note to bring ya'll (that's southern lingo for "you all") up to date on our lives.

Michael works hard (yeah I know that is a very, very vague word thanks to our President Bush for that) on his business everyday and somehow we are making ends meet. He's also going to university! Busy man ;-)

Nama is going to school full time and doing what she can to keep up around the house. She still works as a fertility counselor and is in general just a busybody.

Jahnu has a new obsession *nature* and he put together his own website! :-o www.dasya.com/~jahnu As you can see he does love pictures of volcanoes. He keeps begging to go to Hawaii. We'll get there Dad, I promise.

Chakra followed in his brother's footsteps and has now become a hurricane expert, sort of. His website is: www.dasya.com/~jahnu/pic His teachers just love him and when he's not helping Vikram get into mischief you can find him searching for Waldo.

Vikram has mastered his -ag words now. He loves to read and draw, although he doesn't make good use of paper yet (only uses 1/8th of a sheet). Of course he knows practically all the geography songs now too. Amazing? I think not. Just rather brainwashed :-D

Tarani, aka Princess Curly and Cute, finally outgrew her 18 months clothes! YEAH!! You go lil girl! Of course she is still a year behind in sizing, but that's okay. She's become obsessed with putting her seat belt on (even in the grocery cart) and making everyone say "please" and "thank you". I have no idea where she got this from.

Well that's about it on our end. Drop us a line and let us know how *you* are. Until we meet again TAKE CARE :-)

Mulaprakriti Devi Dasi (aka Morissa Lane Dougherty, Mussy and Gramma Mula) left her body this morning in the holiest of places, listening to her beloved Srila Prabhupada singing Siksakstaka. Those who were there will never forget the experience. She left with a smile on her face and without a touch of fear in her eyes. In her last days she gave special advice to friends and relatives. Sometimes we were miffed by her blunt and unabashed instructions, but there is no doubt in any of our minds that she felt the harsher she was the more serious we would take it. She also made sure everyone would have a chance to read her last offering to her spiritual master, her book "Our Srila Prabhupada, A Friend to All". Devotees all over the world, who Mula touched with her sincere and serious devotion, are eagerly awaiting this extraordinary compilation of Vaisnavas' recollections of experiences with Srila Prabhupada before he came to the West. We know that it will be worth the wait.

We mourn her loss, but we will always carry our memories of her to cherish for the rest of our lives. May she bless us all with the same determination to serve Sri Sri Radha-Krsna and Their devotees as she had. All glories to her Grace Mulaprakriti Prabhu!

Nama's family has been staying with us for the last week, but her mom is very sick. Her family left and the day after Chakra turns 6, she'll be going to India too. Saying good-bye is so hard, but there is no more auspicious way to go than in Vrindavan, surrounded by devotees and chanting of the holy Name. She is so very fortunate!
