Hello, My name is Jahnu David Best, and this is my webpage all about tornadoes.

Tornadoes are very dangerous. They can get up to 300 miles per
hour!! Thats more than a hurricane can get up to. A hurricane can get up to
200 miles per hour. Tornadoes have done a lot of damage. Tornadoes can kill you, no matter if
it is small
or big. You can't evacuate if a tornado comes
because there is NO time. Tornadoes spin. If you see a thing from
clouds coming down AND spinning but not quite reached the ground, it is called a
funnel cloud. When it HAS reached the ground, it is
called a tornado. If tornadoes hit water, they are called a
water
spout. Hurricanes like Emily in August 31, 1993, and Frances in August 31, 2004 were huge. A tornado
in Pampa, Texas who almost a mile long was 300 miles
per hour! It headed right toward Oklahoma City which is in Oklahoma. Thousands of cars and trucks were tossed into the air and broken to pieces. When the tornado hit Oklahoma City, it wasn't a mile long
anymore. About half a mile long. But, still it did a LOT of damage. Other tornadoes are smaller than the
almost one mile long tornado. Like this.

Tornadoes
can wipe out lives in a few minutes. A tornado watch is
when there might be a tornado. A tornado warning
means a tornado has been spotted. A tornado in
Kansas was strange because it was more like dark red color. Tornadoes have
awesome force. Faster you can run, faster a vehicle can drive, FASTER THAN A HURRICANE'S
WINDS CAN GET UP TO!! Tornadoes
can wipe out cars, houses, and maybe you yourself. They are so powerful that
they can be a F5. That is when it is 250 to 300 miles per hour! People have now
fled from
tornadoes.
Tornadoes, hurricanes, tsunamis, volcanoes and avalanches are very powerful. They are called Natural Disasters. A Natural Disaster is something that can destroy a thing.
I hope you enjoy this website i have made.
