Hello, my name is Chakra James Best, and this is my webpage all about hurricanes.

These are category 3, 4 and 5 hurricanes. Category 3 damage is called extensive, category 4 damage is called extreme, and category 5 damage is called catastrophic. Hurricane Edouard in 1996 was a category 3, hurricane Ivan in 2004 was a category 4, and hurricane Mitch was a category 5. In order to find historical storms, 2003 storms, 2004 storms, go to http://www.wral.com/hurricanes/index.html. When you find Track Past & Current Storms, click on it, and you can choose the hurricanes you want. A hurricane watch is when a hurricane MIGHT come. A hurricane WARNING is when there will be a hurricane. Hurricanes churn. There can be a hurricane, tropical storm, TD (tropical depression) at the same time. Sometimes, tropical storms are very scary. For example, tropical storm Fran flooded North Carolina in 1996, September 6th. Sometimes, tornadoes come from, even TDs (tropical depression) can create tornadoes. Such as TD Bonnie in 2004 created a tornado that headed right toward North Carolina but it turned away.
